essica Shiller is an assistant professor of education and graduate program director in the Department of Instructional Leadership and Professional Development at Towson University. Her research interests include urban school reform, social justice education, community activism and youth, and neoliberalism and education policy. She has taught courses in urban education, diversity, historical of education, social studies methods, and educational leadership.
