Project Description
Bridging Differences features dialogues between Deborah Meier and other education thinkers. For years, Deborah Meir and the former Assistant Secretary of Education Diane Ravitch verbally sparred and also found similarities in their divergent points of view.
Deborah Meier is a visionary teacher, author, and founder of successful small schools in New York City and Boston. In 2013, she has and will continue to blog with different education thinkers on the big issues affecting students, teachers, and schools.
Among these are Todd Sutler of the Odyssey Initiative, Michael J. Petrilli, the executive Vice President of the Thomas B. Fordham Institute, Educator Elliott Witney, formerly a leader in a KIPP charter school, Eric Hanushek of the Hoover Institution, and Alfie Kohn.
