First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me–and there was no one left to speak for me.

Consider that school closures that might not seem to affect you now, but could soon come to a town near you. Indeed, as others share, it can happen to you.
Most of us have heard the reflection of one man, riddled with guilt.

Please send your story to the Department of Education, Civil Rights Division.
