National Day for Dignity and Respect: October 4th

STAND TOGETHER FOR IMMIGRATION REFORM!

On October 4, 2013, a broad and diverse group of educators students parents joined together for a rally and march. We listened to youth who daily live in fear for themselves and their parents’ possible deportation. Dr and Reverend Barber spoke to the collected crowd, all of us standing up for the aspiring citizens amongst us. Thousands, all over the country in 90 marches and rallies stood up for the rights of immigrants to a safe and sane route to citizenship. Education not Deportation and Sí Se Puede was our cry.

We call on Congress to pass commonsense immigration reform with a pathway to earned citizenship in 2013.
